WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
USEFUL INFORMATION
Accommodation
There are various B&Bs, guesthouses and hotels in Lofou Village which may be suitable for the night of the wedding. Apokryfo Hotel also has a great reputation.
The closest city is Limassol, which is a 30 minute drive away. There are some wonderful hotels there, beach bars and well-regarded restaurants, with both Paphos and Larnaca airport within a relatively close proximity.
If you are planning on staying for a little longer than the weekend, there are various villas and wonderful beaches and places to explore in the regions of Paphos and Protaras.
Allergies
Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements that you may have as soon as possible. As is typical for Cypriot weddings, the food will be presented in a buffet-style layout. The food provided will be labelled in English with all allergens noted.
Gifts
Your presence on our day truly is enough and we have an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the great effort you will be putting into attending. Yet if you would like to give a gift, money would be appreciated. The decision however, really is up to you, we cannot emphasise enough that the greatest gift is the pleasure of sharing our day with you!
Transport to the wedding
Public transport to Lofou is extremely limited, meaning that driving is the only option. The drive from Limassol to Lofou is approximately 30 minutes, and from Paphos, just over 1 hour.
Due to the number of people choosing to stay in Paphos, we are planning on putting on a bus service from Paphos both to and from the wedding so that you can enjoy your night without the worry of traveling. If this is something that would suit you, please let Naomi know by March 2023 (Details regarding pick up location etc will follow).
Parking
For those driving, there is a large carpark next to the Elementary School grounds. RV7G+XCF, Lofou, Cyprus.
Dress code
Please wear whatever formal attire you are most comfortable in. It is worth noting that the walk to the church and the reception is uneven and high heels may become extremely challenging to walk in (as well as difficult to tolerate in the hot weather). The reception is outdoor and although it will be warm during the day, taking a lightweight jacket for the evening is recommended as it can become chilly very quickly due to the mountainous location.
